Payment Policy

Since Westgate Christian Academy operates on the tuition and fees for services provided by our staff, and receives no other support except funds raised by various means throughout the year, it is imperative that parents keep their accounts paid and balanced.  Tuition is paid on a monthly basis and is for Curriculum Only classes at the Early Childhood Center and for instructional services provided to children in grades K-8.  Fees are paid on a weekly basis and are for Curriculum plus Care students in Early Childhood, and K-8 students in before and/or after care.

When Westgate has received no tuition or fees for two payment periods – be that weekly or monthly – and no communication from the parent as to why there has been a lapse in payments – the family whose account is in arrears must pay the next scheduled fees or tuition at the beginning of the next payment period (whether that is by week or month) by cash, cashier’s check, or money order, or the child will be asked to leave Westgate Christian Academy on the first day of the payment period.  Once a child has lost their attendance privileges, they will not be reinstated as a Westgate student for a period of 30 days.  Following a disruption like this, all future payments will need to be made by cash, cashier’s check, or money order.

If there is a hardship on the family that will cause them not to be able to make a payment, they should contact Kerrie Ottomeyer at the school office and arrange a payment plan to catch up the amount in arrears.  If the parent meets the requirements of the arranged plan, their child will not have their education disrupted.  If the family defaults on the payment plan, their child would then be asked to leave WCA as a student, and the same consequences as described above would apply.
