Westgate Waiver$ (the gift card program) Policies and Guidelines
Summer order dates for the summer of 2008 are June 19; July 3, 17, and 31; and August 14. Please turn in your orders anytime during the week - just be sure to have them turned in by 9:00 a.m. on these Thursday mornings. You can purchase Dierbergs, Shop n Save, McDonald’s, various gas cards, Lowe’s, Home Depot, a number of restaurants, and more that are cash and carry. You can purchase these anytime at all and take the cards with you!

• Westgate Waiver$ is a voluntary fundraising program for Westgate Christian Academy.
• Order dates will be weekly, except during school holidays and summer vacation. There is no obligation to participate weekly.
• Orders must be turned in by Thursday 9am to be processed for the following week. Orders will be placed in your child’s backpack unless other instructions are given.
• All Waiver$ orders must be accompanied by a check or money order made payable to ACC-WESTGATE. A $20 fee will be charged for returned checks. After two returned checks, ordering privileges will be limited to money order only.
• Waiver$ certificates are purchased on your behalf, and are not returnable unless somehow defective. If however, you order a certificate that is on backorder, you do have the option to cancel that order if you do not wish to wait on its delivery.
• When you receive your Waiver$ order, please check it to verify its accuracy. In the event you should find a discrepancy in the order, please contact the Waiver$ Coordinator within 3 days.
• Waiver$ certificates are the same as cash and should be handled accordingly. Westgate Christian Academy will not be responsible for certificates that are lost, stolen or misplaced while in your possession.
• You are receiving dollar for dollar value for your Waiver$ purchases so these transactions are NOT tax-deductible.
• The Waiver$ fiscal year will be from the May until April.
• The Waiver program is a fundraiser for Westgate Christian Academy, and we encourage all parents to participate. It is a program that costs you nothing and benefits the school. During school year 07-08, Waivers brought in $5,000 for the school. PLEASE consider the use of waivers on a regular basis!
• The Westgate Waiver$ policies and guidelines will be reviewed at the end of every fiscal year and any changes must be made in writing. Westgate Christian Academy reserves the right to terminate the Waiver$ program at any time.
