Friday Memo – November 18th
Friday, November 18th, 2011

Dear Westgate Friends,

Monday/Tuesday Next week

Students and staff are invited to wear their reading T-shirts this Monday, November 21st and their spirit wear shirts on Tuesday, November 22nd. Then off for thanksgiving break!

Open House

Thank you to all of our WCA families who attended Open House on November 15. It was such a joy to see our children learning together! We welcomed many visitors and volunteers, many who commented on the quality of our students and families. Thank you!

After Care Next Week

For those who normally utilize childcare, please note the change for next week.

Tuesday afternoon – Before/Aftercare at Elementary

Wednesday – childcare only day at ECC, please contact the EC to ensure there is space.

Thursday, Friday – no services available

Prayer Meetings

We are still having the Prayer meetings in the Lion’s Den every Monday morning for parents to attend with the intention to pray for the school, its students, and for the teachers/classes.  I have offered to compile prayer lists for the meeting.  Parents and Teachers can e-mail prayer requests to Sheri Michael to get the word out.  Have them write “Prayer Request” in the Subject Section to make sure she does not accidentally over look the e-mail.

Opening at the ECC

Due to very recent changes in staffing needs at the ECC, there is now a full time position open. For more information, follow the link on our website.

Waiver$

Christmas is just around the corner. Waiver$ make a great stocking stuffer! We have added Bath & Body Works to our inventory. Be thinking about how you can use the Waiver$ program for your Holiday happenings while reducing your fundraising requirement.

Remember waiver orders are now due on Wednesday and will come home the next Wednesday, sometimes they may come home early but expect them on Wednesday. Lakesha Boyce will send an email the day they are coming home.

Please return all waiver envelopes to the office that are not being used, we reuse them to cut cost.

Thank you for using Waiver$!

WCA Early Childhood

Spirit Wear

Infants and toddlers at the EC, consider having your little one wear a semi-uniform by purchasing them a few Westgate shirts to wear on Fridays plus a couple other days a week. This will save you time, money and you don’t have to worry about crafts staining your child’s weekend clothes.
